I took mine with me i put my cell phone my husbands cell phone in the zipper pocket this way no sand got on them, I had 3 towels, snack, ,my keys, my kids shirts, and other things in there. when I had returned to the room all i had to do is wipe it down with some windex and a paper towel( first i shook the sand out and then continued with the windex and paper towel but no sand was in there. is was gone.
